To turn the long-wheelbase Ford Transit into the perfect leisure vehicle, the pop-up roof SCA 126 offers not only reclining comfort thanks to disc springs but also plenty of extra space thanks to high pop-up stays.

Roof shell
The fibreglass shell is manufactured using the modern vacuum expansion process (VEX), as is usually the case with SCA. The standard colour is white - other colours can easily be painted on request. The smooth surface of the roof is ideal for attaching flexible solar modules without significantly increasing the overall height of the vehicle. The foam core inside the roof shell has an insulating effect. The soft crumpled velour on the inside of the roof creates a cosy ambience in the reclining area.
Fabric bellows and window
The fabric bellows is made of breathable cotton fabric and has two side windows and one front window. Ventilation is guaranteed by the left and front windows, which have fly screens to prevent unwelcome mosquitoes from entering. Those who are not afraid of insects can open the front window completely.
Lying surface
As always with SCA, the mattress of the lying surface consists of high-quality foam and rests on a lying board. For greater comfort when sleeping, this is equipped with disc springs. These also ensure the best possible ventilation and a warm bed in winter for vehicles with auxiliary heating. The padding of the mattress is thicker and thus increases the lying comfort. The access hatch is closed with a lamination of fabric or imitation leather. The high set-up stays make it possible to sleep with the head both in and against the direction of travel. The feet also enjoy more space. If you fold the recliner upwards, you can comfortably stand upright in the vehicle.
Closure system
The roof is equipped with a modern South Co. locking system. With these practical twist locks, an integrated safety strap ensures that the roof is optimally locked. When the roof shell is closed, a practical folding mechanism automatically pulls the fabric bellows inwards so that it cannot become trapped between the bodywork and the roof.
