Roof shell
The fibreglass shell is manufactured using the modern vacuum expansion process (VEX), as is usually the case with SCA. The standard colour is white - other colours can easily be painted on request. The smooth surface of the roof is ideal for attaching flexible solar modules without significantly increasing the overall height of the vehicle. The foam core inside the roof shell has an insulating effect. The soft crumpled velour on the inside of the roof creates a cosy ambience in the reclining area.
Fabric bellows and window
The Skyline fabric canopy made of polyester fabric impresses with its two-colour design - on either grey and red or grey and dark grey. The panorama window fitted as standard offers a great view and also creates the best lighting conditions inside the pop-up roof. The large-area flyscreen enables optimum ventilation of the interior while preventing the entry of unwelcome mosquitoes. Those who are not afraid of insects can also open the window completely.
Lying surface
A slatted frame with additional disc springs ensures comfort when lying down. These also ensure the best possible ventilation and a warm bed in winter for vehicles with auxiliary heating. As always with SCA, the mattress itself is made of high-quality foam. The access hatch is closed with a slide-in module. The locking bar can be operated without much effort. This is conveniently multifunctional and can also be used as a clothes hanger or attachment option for lighting or an iPad or tablet. The extra-high positioning stays make it possible to sleep with the head both in and against the direction of travel. The feet also enjoy more space. If you fold the recliner upwards, you can comfortably stand upright in the vehicle.
Closure system
The roof is equipped with the newly developed SCA-Lock locking mechanism. In addition to an improved design, this offers extra safety and is easy to operate. When the roof shell is closed, a practical folding mechanism automatically pulls the fabric bellows inwards so that it cannot be trapped between the bodywork and the roof.
