Turn your van into a campervan - but what does it need?
Converting a van into a campervan yourself is not feasible for everyone. Maybe you don't have enough time, you don't have the manual skills or you don't have the tools you need. We are here for such cases. Either way, the question of what you need arises whether you convert the van yourself or have it converted by us.
One thing in advance: we'll convert your van into a campervan - but without all the bells and whistles - but with quality.
Question 1: Do you need extra space in your van?
If so, would you like to retrofit a pop-top roof or would you prefer to have a roof tent installed? Pop-top roof yes or no? Here you can find the article on this topic.
- The EGOÉ Nestbox is the simplest and most suitable option for everyday use. It can be easily removed for non-camping days. You can find more information at Camping box.
Question 3: Would you like to be able to obtain electricity independently of the location?
- With the Solar panel you can generate electricity on the roof.
- With a Power Station you can generate electricity with a mobile solar panel or simply charge it.
- You can also use a Second battery so that you can draw additional electricity.
- If you tend to travel from campsite to campsite, we recommend an external power supply where you can connect your van directly to a power station.
Question 4: Do you also want to be out and about on colder days?
- Then you should have a parking heater installed so that you can stay in a warm van. For parking heaters, we recommend installing an auxiliary battery and an external power supply.
- To be able to linger indoors, you can also use a Swivel bracketso that you gain two chairs with the driver's and passenger's seat and thus create a cosy seating area.
Question 5: Would you like to benefit from additional shade?
- One Awning can be quickly installed on the car. We have some models directly from stock, just ask us.
- Attach a sun awning to the piping rail. If you do not yet have a piping rail, you can have one fitted at S-Camper.
Question 6: Do you want to keep the doors / flaps open in the evening for ventilation and not trap any insects? And while we're on the subject of the night - do you already have a blackout system?
You can find our practical mosquito nets with magnetic opening directly in our Shop. These are super easy to install with Velcro and magnetic fastening.
